Regretfully, It didn't work

Hi I was really impressed by Roll2o and really want to get it to work. But despite my best efforts I can't get it to work. My new laptop is Win8 I originally I tried Chrome this worked but had issues with webcam and sound. I and the other test player had to disable and enable to get the camera to work, but would keep switching back to the avatar. Next Explorer once the Chrome plugin was installed it worked but had the same issues as Chrome. Ok So I tried Google Hangouts surely that would fix the webcam problem. With Chrome it would get stuck and would not complete the hangouts plugin. the suffix for the plugin doesn't include Win8 on the OS list. Explorer was better as seemed to be going the right way. But for the first few times it took me to a Roll20 login screen that I couldn't log into. So I reset my Roll2o password and now I get this mystery error message. "Regretfully, It didn't work." instructing me to post on this forum. Running the same tests on my Win7 netbook. Chrome was the same< Chrome +Hangouts worked. after uninstalling and reinstalling the hangouts plugin. First time the "Regretfully..." message appeared but after that all was good. Explorer produced error message for the Chrome plugin installation failed and wouldn't open in Hangouts. The Netbook resolution and CPU is not good enough to be practical to use. Please could someone help me fix this as I really would like to use and become a supporter. Many Thanks Chris,
You have to start the Hangout from the Campaign page on Roll20. See this help file for more info: http://help.roll20.net/misc-playing-in-google-plus/
Hi yes I did that, the error message is after being redirected from the campaign page? Chris
