Looking for 1 more for an ongoing campaign with 3 players. The game is set every 1-2 weeks on saturday or sunday (times is about 8 am EST - 11 am EST). The game takes place in modern day Tokyo where after an incident in the godly realms gods once again began to be reborn on earth and walk among the mortals. Some good and some bad. And you get the chance to play either as a god reborn, or the child of a god and something else (a mortal, another god, ...). What if it is all true? The whole mythology? But not of one culture but of EVERY culture that exists? ..... During the ancient times the gods......beings of unimagineable powers were created by "The source". The source itself being not bound by any morals nor any need for worshipers acted always to what it liked and did so without any morality involved. It created, it destroyed and it twisted. Then after eons the gods rose up against it and imprisoned it. The sole door to it locked away in the deepest parts of the underworlds. The seal itself was the work of the best sorcerers of all Pantheons. But even then it had one drawback. In order to seal the Source and its spawn forever it had to change reality itself so that it was possible. Thus not only the source was sealed away, but most supernaturals were either sent to sleep or transformed into a more humanlike form while on earth, with most of their powers suprressed. When their enemies were defeated the gods themselves went back to their petty rivalities while humankind flourished as it no longer had anything to fear neither from nature nor from the night. This all changed recently though. In a swift uprising a whole Pantheon rose against the others and brought war to the overworld and also to the mortal realms. Only a small group of gods from across all Pantheons saw through this ruse though and saw what the dark ones as they were called by all others were up to really. They gathered all forces they could and rushed to the seal in order to protect it. They managed to get to the Seal first but they were betrayed. Those of their numbers who should have watched their backs turned on them while the a full pantheon of darkened gods stormed the area. The first moments were crucial and only a few of them survived them only to fall moments later as their numerically superior enemy descended upon them. The essences of many gods were devoured, while others were scattered and fell to the mortal realm to be reborn in a new body anew and ascend again. In the mortal realm.....Earth the death screams of the gods went unheard by all but the most sensible seers. The only notice that something was badly amiss being when all of a sudden a loud bang was heard all over the world when the seal broke and the weather went crazy and earthquakes came. Then the essences of the dead gods fell down....glimmering flakes vanishing on hiting the ground or people. Only very few merging with those they hit. Rebirthing who they were and should have been. Now 18 years after what got named the "Stars fall" humans as a whole are unknowing as they have been since eons to the supernatural. Only a select few agencies being aware of what is going on. The supernaturals themselves have returned though....hiding among the humans and preying upon them. The gods and their enemies though.....they are currently in a standstill. Part of the source....part of its esence alongside many of its servants having been freed but part of the prison still stands tall, imprisoning the body of the source and preventing it from unleashing its full force and wreak havock. It is gathering its followers and powers while the gods are rallying their numbers to fight the inevitable war. The dark pantheon on the other side stands at the side of their dark allies and protect them until the source regains their full strength. Begin as someone who is just being turned into a godlike being, be it that you were the child of a god and a human inheriting your parents powers, or the child of two gods or the child of a god and something different supernatural or a god reborn after being brought down or as someone into whom the shard of a dead god merged to give birth to something new. In essence either reborn deities, or they are demigods (deity-non + deity heritage) or someone chosen by a deity(or who accidently got the powers of one when a deitydied). Thus it is NOT action packed but instead focuses more on mystery and inter character developement. Please think twice before applying if it is something you really like.
