Text Boxes: Spaces

Just a little bug: When typing in text boxes, multi-spaces (single, double, triple, etc.) show as a single space until the text box is exited, then the multiple spaces show up. Not a huge deal, but when editing text boxes, it is annoying to have to click back in and fix accidental extra spaces. Thanks for adding it to the long and properly prioritized list of stuff to do there at Roll20 headquarters! Eddie
I don't see this happening on my character sheets. Can you specify what sheet you are using?

I actually found this to be just the opposite. If I edit the a journal's bio page, add a bunch of spaces in my text, I see it in the textbox, but after I save, only one space is used. Edit screen Saved screen You can use the special character code for a space multiple times if you need the extra space
Thanks Rabulias and Vince. The bug described above isn't with a character sheet. It happens in text boxes inserted on Game Pages.
Ah the Text Tool in the Toolbox. And it does seem to be the opposite problem in the text editor fields on Journal sheets and Handouts. I can confirm both of the reported behavior using Firefox 49.0.1. Two bugs in one thread. Hopefully the devs will add this to their list to get corrected (or at least consistent :-) ).

These are all issues with the current rich text editor that we are using. We have been wanting to upgrade this for a long time, it's been "old" since before I started working here. The problem is that it's deeply tied into the site pretty much everywhere, and just a simple "upgrade" isn't possible without reworking most of the website. They have tried in the past and everything blew up. All that to say, I will continue to push for this to be the next big project that I work on. All that to say "I'm sorry, we also know that the text editor is not up to the level of quality we would like it to be, but we don't have the resources do devote to a full rework of everything that would be required to upgrade it at this time". Hopefully "soon". :P
Phil, makes total sense to me. Small potatoes. I trust you and your team to prioritize projects appropriately. Thanks. -Eddie
