Prolog: Lutati grew up never knowing a home, other than the caravan wagon
that was his family’s business. The youngest of three, Lutati was left to find his
own way while his two older sisters learned the family trade. It was only
natural that Lutati would befriend a wandering Priest of Shaundakul who
traveled with the caravan. The priestess Andressa would tell Lutati wonderous tales
of distance lands that the wind had guided her to. She taught Lutati how to
fight with Sword and bow, how to read and write, and the doctrine of Shaundakul.
Lutati, now an ordained Priest of Shaundakul, gazes at the tall spires of
Waterdeep and he wonders where the wind will take him.
