Hi, Looking for a player to join 3 others to make 4 PC group for a scenario I hope to run with the possibility of expanding into a running campaign. Materials : Core and Inquisitors Handbook Communication: Skype First Scenario : Edge of Darkness (free FFG scenario) Roleplaying : Strongly encouraged, but some meta gaming will be passable. Experience Required : Some roleplaying experience would be good, WH40K knowledge beneficial but not a requirement My Experience : Novice GM with one successful scenario under my belt. Character Gen: No pregens, we will take the first session to roll characters together then you can fill in some character fluff as you see fit. Express interest below Cheers, Michael
Greetings Michael, I'm located in US MDT (GMT -6), so this game runs at 10:30 on Friday evening, which is pretty much the time slot I'm looking for. My experience with 40k isn't exhaustive by any means, but does go back to the 2nd edition boxed set and codices/armies for tabletop; I've also read some of the 40k novels. Regarding Dark Heresy, the only books I own are the Core and Inquisitor's Handbook and I've read the Core a couple times so I'm definitely comfortable with most of the mechanics, despite not having played before. My PnP history with other systems goes back a ways. One question...have you and/or the group chosen a method of communication yet?
Hi Starvation, Communication will be via Skype, I really should have added that. Would Skype be acceptable for you? Cheers,
No worries. Skype definitely works. ID is FatKingBaby. Let me know if you need any additional info. Thanks!
