Welcome to a more stable EasyExperience.
Version 1.11:
  • Bug Fix - Fixed a bad variable definition that was wiping all saved settings from the state whenever the script was updated. There shouldn't be any changes to functionality with this update.

Version 1.1:
  • New Features
    • The script no longer requires a player-name attribute. PCs are solely determined based on whether they are controlled by at least one specific player. Characters not controlled by any player or controlled only by "All Players" are ignored. You can specify what characters to add XP to in the config menu. Simply set player controlled NPC's and pets to 'MIA'
    • There is now support for custom experience thresholds and for more/less than 20 levels of thresholds. This may be the cause of the error reported further down the thread; waiting on more information to figure that out.
  • Bug Fixes
    • The script now has better handling for created, but unpopulated experience attributes
    • Deleting a character that was stored in the script's memory no longer causes an API crash
Enjoy,

Scott

EDIT: the "Fathfinder" typo has been corrected in the gist linked above. Will send it for merge sometime today.

You're welcome.
I installed the Easy Experience script with one-click install.  Will this version become the "latest version" under one-click?

I'm getting reports of EasyExperience incorrectly thinking players are over level 20 and/or don't have an experience attribute. If you are experiencing this issue, could you please post a bug report here or PM'd to me with the following information:
  1. Have you been using the script for awhile, and if so when did the problem start?
  2. Are you using the one-click install or copy and pasting from GitHub, and what version are you using?
  3. Can you send me a screen cap of what your config menu looks like (here or discord: Kurohyou)?
  4. What character sheet, if any, are you using? Also, have you changed sheets recently?
Thank you, and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused,

Scott

UPDATE: I haven't been able to trigger the error in my sandbox using the up to date one-click install version of the script. I'm awaiting further information to guide the bughunt.

Updated to version 1.11 for a minor bugfix. This should have no effect on user experience, but will help in future updates.
