New player looking for a group (EST)

Hey, I'm still very new to this (played twice, once in person and once on the virtual tabletop) and I'd like to learn and play much more. I'm in Eastern Standard Time and, honestly, I'd prefer to just hop on and do something out of the blue over a set-date weekly meet, but it's looking like the weekly set-date is the only way to really do anything. I'd like if I could make my own character with a group and every start at level 1. I've played 3.5 and Pathfinder and didn't really see a lot of difference, but I've only made a character with 3.5 so that's my preference for no reason at all. What else? I prefer to play as a human fighter and like to spend every bit of my starting gold right away on literally anything I think I can or might need to use on an adventure. If you're interested in a one-shot, great. If you're interested in a weekly thing, that's good too.

Bee-boop?

"No good deed ..."
They're just looking for a GM, not more players.
Thanks for dropping the droid f-x. Not entirely accurate. Tailspin is open to GM if no one else wishes to run, which I just noted you are.
I was just making filler posts to bump the topic back up instead of having to remake it. He doesn't sound like he's too eager to GM, that slightly concerns me. Maybe if I can catch him I'll see if we can work something out though.
In tailspin's case, it isn't a lack of enthusiasm, but confidence, something that you seem to possess.
