Hello, i am new here.

I have a question and i hope that i am posting it in the right forum. I joined cause this place seemed interesting enough but i wonder if i have to go and buy one of the books for either DnD or Warhammer as those seem the most interesting for me right now.

Hi, and welcome. You could go and buy one of the books, if you wanted, though there is a new version of D&D due out fairly soon and there's an online playtest version available through wizards of the coast ( http://dndplaytest.wizards.com/ ). What you will need will mostly depend on the game you join, if it's aimed at new players it's possible you won't need anything but yourself.
Ah, thank you for the quick reply. I shall go and check out the link you provided at once. Also, quite funny that the "Star of Hope" gave me the answer i looked for ^^.
Hi and welcome. There are several game systems that have online rules resources that you can use to get started. I'm sure other Roll20 users can point you to other systems. D20/3.5 D&D Rules http://www.d20srd.org/ Pathfinder Rules http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ Mutants and Masterminds 3 Ed. http://www.d20herosrd.com/
Havent heard of Pathfinder or the mutant one, i will check them out aswell. Hopefully they will be interesting, and thanks for replying.
