Hi, I'm looking for 2 players for our game. We run every week with very few exceptions (holidays mostly) and have a good group of friends. This year we play on Thursday nights at 6 EST. Next year due to my going to night shift, we are switching to Thursday at 6:30 or 7 ET one week, and the following week will be on Tuesday night at the same time, with us rotating back and forth like that. The game says we have 9 people, but that is a lie. 1 left for a job that can no longer attend, but still lurks, one is away for work issues that may or may not ever be able to return. The others don't play due to life issues that caused interference. This seems like a lot, but we have 2 years in this game, with having played every Thursday. Our game started in September of 2014, and has been running almost weekly since. Here is a link to our wiki and it's adventure logs. http://raven-s-bluff-the-living-city.obsidianporta... Half the group is currently 9th level, and the other half is 10th. You gain experience on the nights you are there, and miss out if you are not. I do not reward people for nights they don't show up. Our current group makeup is Wizard, Barbarian, Magus, Monk, fighter The current group makeup is neutral good. We have some chaotic leanings, we have some lawful leanings. Some things of note: You will not progress in experience as fast as you expect. We made 9 levels after 1.5 years of weekly gaming. It's just how it is, certain things need to happen, before other things can open up in the game, and we move at the pace we need to. Where do you come in? Well if you want a stable game that is only currently about halfway complete, you can come play with us. Level? 9th level on the slow progression chart. Magic items? Wealth by level. All items meet DM or the "person in charge of new people's" approval. Alignment? It must fit the group to some extent. We've had self serving. We won't take an evil person, and when I saw we, I mean the group as a whole, it was already discussed about this before I even came here to look for people as the DM. Yes I make the final decision, but some people have invested much in the game that they get a say as well. Classes we are looking for presently. There is an opening for 1 clerics, 1 paladin. We want the group size to be 6 or 7, so we're recruiting for 2 more, since on any given night we can expect someone to be absent due to real life. The 2characters are (SOMEWHAT) pre generated. Just the stats etc, not the personality, and even though they are pregenerated, you can have some say in, I'd like to switch this for this etc. I have a person in charge of new players, he will be speaking to you, or he and I. Books allowed: Core. Other books are starting to open up, but not for making a character. We are also a city adventure, while the game is about the players, it is also about what can happen to one fantastic city set in the Forgotten Realms. I always welcome questions. If you wish to join then I need the following from you. 1. Go to our wiki and become a fan, if you are not a fan why would you want to play anyway? 2. A message, that answers the following 3 questions. A. Who is the current archmage of the city? B. What does the crime of illegal flight carry? C. The trumpeter is our newspaper. Tell me something you learned about our city in a recent Trumpeter.? C might be a little hard and you might have a little latitude. Do those 2 things, get the answers correct, and you will get an invite to the game area. At that point you will need to pick a time that my friend and I can be on Teamspeak and talk to you about your character, the personality etc, does it fit the group. . The first part (which should be via a private message), just shows that you have the gumption to do more than "yeah I am interested." that most people do. The second part will tell us why your character is good for the game, your experience, etc. If we don't get any people, I'll repost later. We would rather adventure with what we consider a small group, than dilute the comraderie of the game we have now. Some of the players I know in real life, some are friends I have made here, so all are welcome. We adventure in Forgotten realms, even though we play pathfinder. So expect that the god we use will be those. It doesn't matter if you are not familiar, you just have to learn. Again questions are welcome here. Wanting to join should be in a PM. It is not first come first served, it is he or she who best meshes with the current group, and seems like a good fit.
