Please note: I live in Australia GMT +10. (Yes, the time is correct) I am looking for 4 players to fill a homebrew playtest for a game based in the setting of the Elfquest comics by Wendy and Richard Pini (available to read on the offical elfquest website, for the curious.) This is entirely fanmade. I am testing the rules out and trying to work out any kinks in the design. I am happy to take new and old players, but am especially looking for those who have knowledge of the Elfquest world. The game is RP focused, not ideal for min-maxxers or people who like to roll a million dice. It is heavily geared toward good characters and having goals, so we will have a little focus of that for the session. Most likely this will run over 2-3 sessions, but I cannot guarantee longer as this is just a playtest. The system uses attribute+skill+1d6 vs. a difficulty and should be very easy to pick up for most players. You will be playing as a mismatch tribe of Elves, set during the Palace's Disappearance. Your tribe has been formed, or decided to leave your other tribes, in search of High Ones... As for me, I am an extremely experienced GM with 14 years of gaming under my belt. This is my first time designing something and I would really like to make it the funnest it can be. Years ago Elfquest was made into a game with one of the percentile systems and I was not a big fan of that official conversion (or percentile systems). Over the last few weeks, I have been trying my hand at creating my own design for the setting and I am quite pleased with it. Pleased enough to take it to task and run through its paces.
