GM Support Idea List

Hello everyone! This is a thread for GM support ideas. I'm sure many of you fellow GMs appreciate this site as much as I do and want to support it's exploding player base. To do that more effectively we GM trainers are creating a series of GM Workshops (Ex: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9535/gm-workshop-off-the-grid" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9535/gm-workshop-off-the-grid</a> ) designed to help GMs grow in knowledge and experience because we feel the a strong GM core will be the back bone to the longevity of Roll20. To that end I wanted to create a thread that would list ideas and thoughts on how to best support GMs. I know other threads have been made on GM support but I would like to focus all of our ideas into one place. That way be can really pinning down some solid ideas. Since this is a suggestion forums for Roll20 devs lets first list ideas on what features we think will best help support our fellow GMs. GM Forums. Might seem kind of a simple idea but a separate forum for GM discussions, news, help, etc. would help unify us further and give quicker access to GMs that need support. I really think this easy to implement idea would be a good foundation. GM Tags. I've bounced this one around some with a fellow GM Trainer and feel that if we could EARN GM tags it would encourage GMs to either GM more games at once or encourage rookie GMs to keep with it. An example of how this may work is Bronze GM tag is achieved when you GM at least one campaign and have 100+ hours, Silver GM tag if GM at least 2 campaigns and 500+ hours & Gold GM tag with at least 3 campaigns and 1000+ hours. A way we can create basic modules with sounds, art, & story to help beginner GMs start off. Before we start strongly promoting these ideas to the devs I would like to gather more ideas and get feed back on what we have so far. Please fill free to add to our list and give you critique. Thank you for stopping by fellow GMs! - [GM] Keaggan
Can the software distinguish between playing hours and GMing hours?
You know what's funny, I just posted a thread for something like this.

If a Dev or someone knows please post here. if not now I wonder how hard it would be to code it in. The Question said: You know what's funny, I just posted a thread for something like this. What were some of the idea you mentioned? I tried looking for a similar thread before I posted this. Mind bring the ideas you had there to this thread? I would like this is be a center of GM ideas...until we get a GM forum ;) Also what do you think of the other ideas already posted? Feedback from experienced GMs will help us all.

From Become a Creator : Do you sell full adventures / modules / games? Yes, but only complete packages. You will need to have all the necessary artwork components and publishing rights to sell a full experience that we expect to sell in a "one click" method to users. You will also be expected to assemble your game within Roll20 (no programming required-- just taking the time to assemble the game within the interface as if you were prepping it for players). Please e-mail us to discuss bringing your game to the Marketplace.
