NEW PLAYER! - Storm kings thunder or Lost mine of phandelver?

D&D looks so fun. I would like to DM so that my mates and I can try out this game :) Which D&D package should I get out of the 2 mentioned in the heading? Big price difference. Also take into consideration I have never played as DM before, only a few games as a player at UNI. Thanks!
I can't speak from the Roll20 perspective of those two but I can from the tabletop.  Definitely start with LMOP, it's very good for starting players including the DM.  This is how I started.  Also Storm King has a way to link the two together if you wanted to jump from LMOP right into Storm King later.

I haven't played/read through LMoP, but SKT is also simple enough to manage through the first two chapters: "A Great Upheaval" and "Rumblings". After that, the module becomes very sandboxy. The players pretty much get to travel all over the northern Sword Coast region, following plot hooks from NPCs or exploring out on their own.
I am running a LMoP campaign, am playing SKT, and recently picked up Out of the Abyss module.  If you are easing in, I would definitely go with LMoP.  It is a much smaller campaign and gives you experience with game mechanics and how to read the modules that will help for the bigger ones.

Do you have or read the D&D Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide yet? I recommend reading those 2 books before starting either of the modules. Then I would recommend starting in LMoP before taking-on a mega-quest like SKT.
The  D&D Basic Rules are available for free with that link to get you started , and check out the many game play videos on youtube for different play styles for tabletop and virtual tabletop.
