To the Most Puissant and Wise Underking Duthom Goldthrone, from the desk of your humble servant, Duke Ferrus Copperbrow. My lord, it is with hope in my heart and belief in your mercy that I write to you once again of the Pebbledale District guardsman Helm Black, currently in exile by your just and fair decree. Though I understand and support the reasoning behind your exile -- no dwarf is above the law -- I hope that you understand that I must continue to beg for your clemency. Though I have pled my case before, I must restate it. By all accounts, Helm Black was a model guardsman, enthusiastic and capable in his defense of your kingdom. He was well-loved by the dwarves he protected and well-versed in the use of his axe, which he wielded to great effect during the attack of the white dragon, Vanithoorha. During said attack, Helm rushed valiantly to my own defense, freeing me from beneath the beast's claw. In support of his valor and honor, and in consideration of the life-debt which I owe him, I again entreat you to forgive Helm Black and welcome him back into the home guard. I remain, as always, your humble servant, Duke Ferrus Copperbrow of the Vorthan Duchy
