GM contact Info https://app.roll20.net/users/101246/mal / Skype Info. Mal.y1 (same cute kitten picture in boston) The Story 100% up to the players there is stuff running in the background that you as players can come across but the story is about the players and what they do with their unlife. The Setting Boston in modern nights the elders are gone and the young ones are left to clean up and play. GM: Style: Imrpov+Story I am the setting reacting to the decisions of the characters. Pro: Adaptive Since i work around the players decision i am able to adapt quickly I will not say yes to everything Cons: Paceing, mumbles and description Finding the right tempo and pace is a challenge for me working to improve What I'm Looking for: Player: Proactive Since i will be acting as the setting it would be best if the player is proactive. If you don't make decisions and wait for direction you will get bored. Also players will not be forced together that's something the players and characters will have to decide for them selves. Experience: None or Willing to forget everything I perfer players with no experince or those who are willing to forget everything. I use the book as a starting point and go from there. Players with Lawyer like knowledge of the RAW or oWoD often have trouble in my game. Character: Human first - Vampire Second Think about your human life make the human before you make the vampire. Extreme concepts may be rejected. Misc: There is no Win If your a player who likes to win this won't be the game for you. You can successed but you have to work for it. The world sucks if it can go wrong chances are it will go wrong.
Hey, this looks interesting. I would be willing to play, I have read all the clan novels and played a long while back so I don't remember everything but I am experienced in tabletop rp. Let me know if you want to talk about it more?
Which timezone are you in, Mal?
eastern timezone
Thanks for the quick answer. Sadly, that's not gonna work for me. I wish you luck in finding players.
In my experience people with no plot to pitch, a phobia of "rules lawyers", an inability to use basic spelling & grammar, and an incredible lack of direction aren't cut out to be GMs and aren't actually looking to run a game; what it sounds like you want is a bunch of people to play a game in front of you for your amusement.
Half of your post sounds like an insult as for the other half maybe I can shed some insight. Is the game lacking an overarching plot? I'd say no there is plot there are things going on? Am i going to force the players with a quest or mission or anything like that? No I won't Will i introduce npc and try to foster relationships and hope the players take intrest in the workings of the setting? yes Is every game for everyone? No If anyone else has any other concerns or questions please feel free to ask.
I meant in no way to be insulting, not sure if you meant me.
I am having trouble getting people to show up on a consistent basis. Looking for people who can honor the time commitment and are looking for a fun exploration/sandbox+story game.
