blurry maps

Is there a way to resize maps where they aren't blurry or fuzzed out lines with out stretching them

Roll20 can only work with the resolutions that you upload. The only way to improve the image quality is to upload a better quality. That being said, if you are experiencing blurry maps right at load, this is due to an update a month or so ago (maybe longer?) where they changed it so that the system didn't try to load everything all at once at full resolution. What is the resolution of the image that you are trying to enlarge, and how big are you trying to make it?

Ideally, start with a higher resolution (larger) map. The larger the starting file, the bigger it can be expanded without fuzziness. Wiki docs with more information and advice about this, <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Image_Best_Practices_for_R" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Image_Best_Practices_for_R</a>... Can you give an example of the map (or map file picture size) that you're trying to start with? Maybe you can stretch it out (fuzzy style) and trace over it with Roll20 drawing tools, then delete the fuzzy version from the background and play on your re-make?

Drop a few bucks on the high res maps. You'll spend more time looking for work arounds than you will buying Gabriel Pickards Quick Encounters series. I converted a map of Falcon's Hollow from the low res image meant to be a general map in the source book to a high res village by painting &nbsp;over the map using the token artwork from his&nbsp; Slapdown Town pack. It's a much more realistic thing for your players to try and defend a village that looks like its living and breathing. I'm using a battleground map with a lot of pits, spike walls, and ditches where I let them dictate where all the obstacles go so that they can defend the town from a undead horde. You'll have to forgive all the whirls of mist. The night hags conjured a mist so that peoples visions are severely limited. Its nice and scary when a large swath of undead can appear right on top of you from out of left field. If this sounds fun know that I can set up endless variations of this and I've only spent about 10 dollars. &nbsp;
