Greetings Adventurers! The game setting is the typical medieval setting running D&D 5th edition. We are currently playing at 17:00 GMT+0 . I am also up for doing bonus sessions if the entire group are up for it. I wish to stress this is my FIRST time DMing ever so please be considerate it will take me time to get better at this kind of thing. I will be taking advantage of asking players what their likes/dislikes were of the session and what they thought could have been better at the end and making sure to hand out inspiration. I also don't strictly follow the book and may rule things a little different or if we are not sure what the rules say in a certain situation and I must rule on the fly I will do so. I prioritize RP I am not going out of my way to follow every little rule or slow down the game because of it unless I can quickly look it up especially if it is minor. You may use any race/class you want I will not be restricting you in that sense. I'm also running a sandbox game. I require you have a microphone as well as we will be voice chat RPing. It is important to note that I am a new DM running my own world and lore. I am using a map that someone has created using a 60 mile hex map but I have added my own towns/villages/cities to it. I'm going to be running a serious and deadly experience while also trying to accommodate comic relief when I can and when appropriate. I will also be running this game as an 18+. This Game may include violence, drugs, sex, racism, rape, slavery, insanity and any number of other taboo subjects. If you are easily offended, or under the age of 18, this probably isn't the right game for you. I also want to point out that it is likely your characters you create in my world may die and you should proceed with absolute caution. The game is as hard or as easy as you make it be. We will be starting at level 1. Information about the campaign "Agents of Chaos" and the continent of Yaumiki This campaign has a central tension about the struggles between Chaos vs Law but if the characters wish to actively seek out and engage with that narrative is up to them. There will be opportunity for the adventurers to involve themselves in this struggle, or to go about their own business, though regardless of what they choose to do there are consequences and benefits to their choices either way. There are various nations in this game that all have their own information, governments and ways of running things. There are many villages, towns, and cities you can visit and go to as well. There may be other struggles going on in this world for the players to involve themselves in as well but the main central tension is as prior mentioned Chaos vs Law. The Hadora Empire has banned the worship of God Nerual of Chaos throughout their lands. The King has stated and believes that chaos is the root of all evil and what poisons the minds of criminals to not follow the right and just laws of the land. He has declared and made it law anyone within his borders who worships this "cult" shall be executed. The new king has revitalized the economy of the nation and unified the people once more. The last king was unfit for rule and was a horrible tyrant who devoutly followed the religion of chaos, and often went against the culture and principles of the people and was also named a "Tyrant". He did this by humiliating his servants, often in public, and would kill or humiliate those who did not agree with his ideas or bend to his will.. Often public execution, or making those who went against him his "pets" and treat them literally like dogs till they learnt their obedience once more. The current King swore upon taking the throne after the last king died under suspicious circumstances vowed to his people he would bring this country back to its prior glory and to restore the nation once more and removing the chaos religion from these lands and declaring it a religion of true evil and corruption, and would therefore place a big priority on enforcing the goddess Astair of Order and Law as the one true god. The Kingdom still allows other religions and paladin orders to operate within his nation but he has completely outlawed Chaos throughout his country. The God of Chaos wishes for justice for this heinous crime which nobody has been doing anything about and therefore has been taking actions unknown to most in order to rectify this issue. Through his anger he has taken action as his well being and power as the other gods gather their power from the consciousness but he also gains power through the act of chaotic action (that doesn't mean evil chaos but more just in general) of the people and without it he is powerless and relies on his followers to do what it is he requires or must take drastic and extreme action. I will be using the stock races in my world BUT you can create your own race and work on it with me. You cannot be from the continent though and must choose how you ended up in this continent and why. Perhaps you ended up here from another plane of existence or you are a merchant or traveler from another island or continent. It is entirely up to you. PLEASE PM ME YOUR APPLICATION.
