Mystery Islands Duet

impromptu one shot duet / 1 player 1 Dm about 4 hours New players welcome When this adventure takes place, your character will have been at sea for over a week. At some point during that time, you became a prisoner. You are currently on the pirate vessel "The Angry Rose", located in the brig. How did you get into this cell? Why this pirate boat? These things can be a story for another time. You remember pirates putting your equipment into one of the chests outside your cell. You have been in the brig for some time, you are healthy but also hungry and thirsty. The Adventure begins here. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/59824/mystery-i... My expectations are to improve DMing and Roll20 skills. To start a game on short notice. To experience running the same adventure, each time with a new player.
The purpose of this adventure is to help me locate possible players, for our weekly campaign. I hope the players i have now stick around, no need to advertise for players. It is also a way for me to play a bit more, between campaign sessions. You get to find out if you would ever want to join our campaign. I want it to happen without a lot of planning, 2 players is possible, = more planning. It's FREE!
I'm quite new to D&D however I'd love to join!!
This sounds like fun! Let me know if you need any info from me.
The things I would need from the player. -- a character generated purely from the players handbook, using point buy 27 points -- communication expressing what times work best for both of us -- no need for an elaborate backstory, sweet and simple works here. (I am a fan of campaign characters having backgrounds, just not a focus within this one shot) Game notes All the focus will be on your character / No DMPCs here. NPCs and monsters yes. Solo play a problem, find a friend plan with them and let me know what works. Don't like the game? Hit the kill switch, no harm, no foul, no players/DM left behind with a empty seat to fill. Like it? Maybe there will be a part 2. First level solo sound too tough? Start at level 2 Maybe this can become part of your characters background story.
