New player looking for a group

Hey everyone! I'm a relatively noobish player who is looking for a group. I've played DnD(3.5) before, but it was mostly just an informal/fun thing with friends. I've never played any other editions or played online, so an understanding GM would be much appreciated. I have a fairly open and reasonable schedule and would be more than happy to discuss time details with anyone interested in including me in their game. Let me know if you have a group willing to help!

Still looking for a permanent group, preferably fri/sat/sun. I only have experience with 3.5 and pathfinder but I would be happy to try out something else!

I will vouch for @John J. Jingleheimer-Schmitt. He is a good Role player. I have had the pleasure of having him play in my one shot. He would make a great addition to any team.

I don't know about JJ's RP/writing ability, but at the very least he 'play's ball.' Pretty useless when players expect you to do 'everything'. Not the case, in this case.

My two groups are going through a bit of a shake-up due to multiple schedule changes and I'm likely to have spots open (unfortunately).

Not to steal his thunder, but I am very much in the same boat as the OP (some 3.5/pathfinder experience, PST timezone, and free weekends). Could there possibly be an other opening?

I'm still in the process of figuring out who of my current group is playing when. There is likely going to be a Saturday night game kicking off around 6:30 your time, this may change and I don't know the number of spots yet. There are two possible deal breakers for you guys. 1) It's not going to be using a D&D rule set, instead we're using FATE Core. No experience is required, just a positive attitude and internet access. Looks like y'all have that covered, I can supply the rest. 2) We're going to be meeting every other weekend. Some people find this to be too much time between games (I completely understand this viewpoint), but it is an ongoing active campaign. If this doesn't kill your interest, shoot me a PM and I will keep you up to date with how things are shaking out.
