You will be joining a circus, which you will soon learn that soonafter doubles as a front for a group of assassins. Both parts are equally as important, as the leader of the troope, a goblin by the name of Dagobert, has a love for performance... but also a love for violence. The campaign will be very RP heavy. When I say very I mean VERY. All of the players talk in first person with accents and are a ton of fun, I play my NPCs the same way of course. This kind of RP is the bread and butter of the way I DM and the games I seek. You can expect about 80% RP / 20% combat. Meaningful combats should be exciting, somewhat rare, and most importantly - interesting. Combats that are part of side quests or random encounters will be quick and not drawn out, typically. I favor reducing enemy HP / AC in favor of making them hit a bit harder, so expect the world to be a bit more scary as a result. Right now we have a Warlock illusionist, Divination/oracle Cleric and Grappling fighter. There are a lot of roles the circus is still looking to fill, mostly involving sword swallowing and having cinder blocks smashed over your chest as you lay on a bed of nails, someone with a high CON and pain tolerance preferred. Also looking for someone who can work with animals. Think hard about what you can contribute to the circus, and how your unique qualities that make you fit into a circus can also allow you to contribute something valuable to the assassination side of the business. We are two sessions deep and you would be starting at level 3. tuesday at 9pm est one final note: these sessions will go onto a youtube channel with a decent amount of subs so you'd have to be alright with that, too
