Hey Roll20 Community! So, I am hoping to get one other player for Carrion Crown in Golarion in Pathfinder. I am a player, and my GM has been struggling to find players on Roll20, and I would like to help him look for some players.  So, here are a few details about the game itself, so you guys can know what to expect from this game. Maturity The other part is that there is a few graphic scenes in this game. Some, when I was playing through this a few years back, made me cringe and I have a strong tolerance for that type of stuff. So, if you don't mind the description of gore and unsanitary circumstances you'll be fine. GM's Personal Preference Now, we have had a spot of players being immature, or asking way too many questions than what should be asked for a game. Our GM would like to have: Players that are decently experienced (although it's not mandatory). Won't annoy the GM with getting off task Will work with the party to have great fun Has no fear of roleplaying with others Are not power-gamey, and will create characters that are on the same power level as the rest of the party Social Contract Rules These are pretty standard for most games, but I think I should iterate the expectations so you guys know what is up. 1. We hate PvP, so avoid intentional character in-fighting (what I mean, is I attack Jeff with my sword). However, if there is character conflict, that is different and is covered in number 2. 2. We enjoy character conflict, *as long as the players don't take it personally and don't annoy the GM and other players* this is so crucial, as it can lead back to rule number one. So, try to avoid taking it personally as best you can! Thanks! 3. We believe that characters that are interesting to the gamemaster often get the most spotlight time. Therefore, while I would prefer this to not go into a competition for hogging the spotlight. But, the characters that I find interesting are not blank sheets and numbers, I like to see strengths, stories and flaws in a character. The flaws mostly. It provides something to roleplay and create something interesting for the character to act on. If you read all of this, write "David Bowie" at the end of your application, the rest of this you can skip if you don't want to know, or don't care for the other categories. The Setting Golarion, is really a "pick your setting" world. The world isn't like the Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dark Sun, Planescape, or other settings where there is a specific theme. Each country has it's own setting, we are starting in one country called Ustalav, it is more like Ravenloft where Vampires, Werewolves and murder is commonplace.  That is about it, give you application at the bottom, just tell us who you are, what you would like to play, what you are like as a player, and what you are like as a person. That is all! :) Just wanted to provide as much information as I possibly could for his game! :)
Hi there. My name is James. I'm 21 years old. I'm new to role playing games and was hoping to find a group that could show me the ropes. I have only played once for about a hour long ago. I'm open to play as much as you want and whenever. I can always change my schedule up if need be. I understand how combat works and some of the rules. I have no clue about any lore though. Hoping to learn lore as i go, would be more fun than just looking it all up at once. I really like getting into my characters, in any game, and playing them how i think they would act. I like to be challenged and experience everything there is to a game. I love being rewarded for actions and quests but can't stand it when i kill one goblin and all of sudden own the world. Nothing is more fun than the struggle for wealth and power. I would enjoy a main quest line and to have the options of side quests. Hell just going out with the crew to shop is fine with me. Ether way I'm sure i'll enjoy it as long as everyone is having a good time. As a person, I just go with the flow. Most of the time im down to earth and just ready to  have some fun. Not sure what else to say without making it sound like I'm signing up for eHarmony. Hope i'll hear from you "David Bowie"
Hi! My name is Tim, and I would like to throw my name into this. I will introduce myself as an experienced roleplayer who participates in tabletops for the collaborative storytelling aspect and not to wargame or 'win'. I enjoy telling a good story and making characters that challenge or subvert the status quo. You mention that you enjoy characters with flaws, and I can promise you that mine have plenty - such as one previous character who struggled with drug addiction to the point he began exploring the 'Ship of Theseus' paradox to free himself of the cycle. Roleplay aside, I am hoping you can tell me the point buy and allowed content for this campaign, as '15 point buy' and 'Core Only' games are not my cup of tea. Thank you for your time! Eagerly, Tim P.S. - David Bowie
