Rookie looking for a party.

I'm 21 years old and pretty new to role playing games. I've heard and read a bit about D&D and Rift thanks to my uncle, who is way to obsessed with them. I'm very interested in finding a fun group to play with in pathfinder or D&D, and willing to put up with some rookie mistakes. I'm open to play on most days and any character. Night time would fit best with my schedule, however, I'm free all day every Sunday. I'd prefer a group that doesn't give 10 million gold for killing 5 goblins and is open to campaigns, side quests, and just goofing around. basically a sandbox. I love making my characters have flaws. I love role playing all together. I'm also fine with text, voice or video chat but voice chat is normally the easier road. Thank you for reading! :D
