Ian here, I'm a fairly experienced DM with a fairly ludicrous game in mind for those fairly interested. What would you do if I told you your party consisted of a Mind Flayer pretending to be a High Elf Wizard in hopes of becoming friends with surface dwellers, a Weretiger Monk in search of true love, and a Young Copper Dragon that has shapeshifted into a Halfling Cleric to practice it's social skills? If your answer is something along the lines of rolling up an Animated Suit of Armor Barbarian that wants to wrestle vampires, we may be on to something. Quite simply, I was thinking of running a truly outrageous and comedical game where none of the characters are core races (except maybe one), but are instead monsters pretending they are core races. The more stereotypical we can make the party look on the outside and the more bodacious we can make the party actually be , the more memorable this game will be. The plot would start out super-stereotypical, and then deviate as the party does a bunch of strange things. However, one goal is the same throughout the game: no one can reveal they are a monster to the public! If anyone is interested in this, either as a one-shot or a campaign, the games would be at or after 4:00 PDT on Tuesdays or Thursdays. A more specific time for those days will be arranged if enough people show interest in the game. Feel free to ask any questions here in the thread or in PMs sent to me.
