A mad mad world using D&D 5E rules as a basis, but with HEAVY use of homebrew elements, including new classes & races, powerful races with multiple levels, technology, and some spelljammer 5e conversions. The game is weekly, Monday Night UK time (7pm GMT) and has been running for over a year. We have players from all over, as long as he time slot suits you. The group recently retired characters at 18th level after time travelling to the past to defeat a Cthulhu invasion, and have now decided to make a new start of it. Unfortunately we lost a couple people along the way, so looking to make some additions to the crew. The play style is lighthearted for the most part, and player vs player is discouraged (but it does occasionally happen, as long as in stays in character.)  The game is a high powered mix of storytelling, problem solving, and combat on a grand scale.   Characters for this new reboot of the game will be starting at 8th level, rolling rules and other info for character creation can be found in the main setting book linked below. A little about me (the DM). I am 35, American living in the UK. I have been playing and DMing D&D since 2nd edition, more than 20 years. If you are interested, please Private message me. Is it text only or would we use Skype or something like that
We use Skype. game runs 7pm UK to about 11pm. Skype chat is also used through the week for the group to talk about game and all sorts of other things.
Would you be ok with someone new to 5e? I've played a fair bit of Pathfinder, but very little D&D itself. And, how roleplay heavy would it be? Would everything have to be done in character, or could I just give a general idea of what the character feels/would do?
We do very little speaking in character. when I say role play I mean non combat interactions, social encounters, politics. I don't have any issue with a new player, however I would caution you that the game is heavy with homebrew elements (as in 100+ page setting book I have written) so it could be overwhelming.  if you would like to join us tomorrow night for creation drop me a PMD for invite
Hi, one of the few that has been lost along the way here due too real life. kacee is a brilliant dm  I've had a char that I absolutely loved to play and kacee loves to build your char with you and if you want homebrew he can help you out. for a new player this campaign can seem overwhelming, but I suggest giving it a try  kacee is no it afraid of helping you out  neither are the players
