LFP - Mage: the Ascension M20 - 8:00 p.m. (EST) Wed, Thu or Fri

Hi guys, I'm looking for players for a chronicle of Mage: the Ascension using the 20th anniversary rules. Most of my experience storytelling has been through LARP and PbP so I'm interested in storytelling with voice or text in real time. Ideally we would play every other week and I'd prefer to have 3 or 4 players. Looking for both experienced players and newbies. Questions are welcomed.

Hey there, this sounds awesome, I've been wanting to dust off my m20 book! My ideal day would be Friday, and I'd prefer it if it were voice, but I'm open minded. Would you be allowing to allow a sister of hippolyta in the game?  :D
I've played a little bit of mage, but it was like, a decade ago, and I'm not entirely sure we were doing anything right, so... basically a newbie, but I'd love to give it another try.  Friday would be best for me (I can make that reliably), but I could probably make *most* wednesdays if the game is on that day.
P. and Arcosus, thanks for your replies. I think we could schedule it on Fridays. What character concepts did you have in mind?
Well, it really depends on what the group ends up being like, I always wanted to play a very socially conscious activist who tries to use their magic for forwarding local issues (helping forward environmental conservation, homeless and womens shelters etc). And because it's World of Darkness I figure there's a lot to work on. Let me know if that works, I'm open to changing things around and such.
Hey I myself have been running a M20 game for a few months now and I would like to play it for a change. If you need any more players let me know.
I don't have a strong character concept in mind. Like P, I like to play off the group a bit (plus, being a functional novice, I'm still going back and rereading the book). That said, there's a certain appeal to the mystic technomancy of the virtual adepts or the sons of ether. There's also a bit of temptation to play off my own relative lack of familiarity with an Orphan who also has no idea exactly what's going on in the world he now finds himself.
What scope are you interested in playing? (street-level, city-level, world-level, multiverse-level)
I like the idea of starting low and working our way up for a fuller character arc, but I wouldn't be upset if people with more time playing the game would rather jump straight into the meatier power levels..
I would have to agree with Arcosus. It's actually more fun to start off low key as you can play out more the discovery of what Mages can do, plus it's a bit more fun to see what magick can do for you in your daily life.
Hey guys, I sent you the link to join the game. I like to build the story collaboratively so I'd like if you could check the forum inside the game and add what character concepts you'd like to play and see how we can work together. If anyone else is interested in joining please let me know.
Hi, would you be open to a UK player (I am an American living in the UK :) ) Saturday early mornings work for me and I haven't played Mage before but I have played VtM and we have had a Mage NPC in my group who has gotten me interested in the Mage system.  If you are open to me joining you guys I would be interested in Son of Ether of Virtual Adept character.  Rob
