
"There is never been such an advantageous time for the free folk of Calradia to spring fourth and claim what is theirs. For centuries, the Calradian Empire owned most of the lands we call home. Many were tired with the imperial culture and views, and betrayal coated the kingdom. Many lives were lost, included that of our Emperor and three of his sons. The royal line of succession has either been slain, or forced into exile by a handful of self-proclaimed Kings working independently for their own cause, who now own these lands. These Kings hold onto their lands either by claim, or force, and now set out to carve their own future out of our world." THE TALES OF CALRADIA This Campaign is extremely custom and engages the players in a more realistic, medieval-themed campaign in the world of Calradia. The decisions the players make will decide how they progress. We use simple, custom character sheets designed by myself for the campaign, and focus more on an RP-Element mixed in with more interesting combat. Players will be able to forge their future by the decisions they make, create allies and treaties, and chase whatever dreams/desires they wish. Depending on how the players play, will determine their results. The world will be completely persistent, even though the players are on one side of the land, much will be going on elsewhere. We also want the players to work their way up completely, not starting with good equipment and armour, spells and magic. We want players to feel truly proud of their accomplishments, and allow them to progress from nothing. Campaign Changes: - Characters will need to fulfil their needs and make sure none of them deescalate, otherwise characters will suffer consequences. These needs go as followed: Energy, Hunger, Thirst, Social Interaction, Extraction of bodily fluids (Shit/Urinating), Warmth and Comfort. - Magic won't be as excessive in the campaign. Magic will be Folklore dependant, but orders of paladins, druids and other groups may appear during the story. - Critical hits against players will damage their armour and could possibly scar them for life. - Critical fails with a weapon will lower the durability a ton, meaning it'll be likely to break when used. - 100 Copper = 1 Silver --- 100 Silver = 1 Gold - Players don't need tool kits or proficiency to create simple, straight forward items, and instead can roll to see the outcome of their creation. Items that require more development and work will require profession training or an artisan of that type (Weaponsmith for Weapons) - Characters start off with 9 in each attribute including their racial buffs, but will be given attribute points once reaching specific levels to develop their characters in accordance with their needs. - AI can be hired, and can serve the players in pretty much any role. The most obvious role is as a soldier. - The players have the capacity to arm men and lead armies. This includes giving directions to commanders in the army and planning strategies and tactics before the battle starts (If they want to) - The players have absolute complete freedom with their choices.
