MACRO COPYING!

So when is being able to copy your macros from one game to another going to be a thing? I for one am getting tired of having to create all my macros again and again and again and again for every session -_- I've asked around and still nobody knows how to do it save ctrl+c and ctrl+v the contents of each macro one by one. This normally takes me about 30 to 45 minutes to do because I make macros for everything, including Roleplay for each individual character.

If you are starting up a new game each time you can just create a copy of your other game and opt to keep things like macros, using this method you can have a template game which contains nothing but your macros and rollable tables etc. Of course this is only applicable if you are the game creator. Alternatives for players would be using the player vault coupled with a 'macro' character with all of your macro's as abilities on that sheet, would still require the initial copy/paste to set up but would be a one time only deal?

The player vault in no way supports macro copying. When you import a character from a previous game with macros, those macros don't appear in the new game, just the character sheet and token. There was supposed to be an experimental transmogifier tool but it looks like the developers have removed it. Honestly, $5.00 a month should be plenty for them to add a tool that copies macros from one game to another...

I just tested it and was able to bring the macros over using that method. On my test, confirmed that Character Vault works as Zeichael said, was not able to replicate what you described of just the character sheet and token. Further testing may be needed; I was GM in both games for my test today. For this method to work, the Macros must be saved as Abilities on the Character (not as Global Macros under the Collections tab), and then use Character Vault to move it into another game. Please try it again by saving some of your Macros as Abilities, and move the Character with Character Vault. If that method is broken for you there might be a bug and we can address troubleshooting steps to diagnose it in the Bug Reports forum. How to move characters using Character Vault: https://wiki.roll20.net/My_Vault#Character_Vault How to set up the macros as Abilities on a character: https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Abilities Your suggestion for Macro copying is still good; there is also a related suggestion for adding macros to the Transmogrifier .
