Manipulating attributes in macros.

This is specific to the 3 bars I know you can add your self to the tracker with macros & dice even can add and subtract down. is the same capability for the 3 bars one of them usually being health. something along the line of /r 1d8+1@{selected|bar3} (up to max bar3 value for the equivelent of "cure light wounds"
When they added the flag to send to result to the tracker they did say it was the first flag they would be adding. I hope and even kinda expect that one of the other flags will at some point have the ability to do exactly what you are asking for. I don't know for sure of course, but it makes sense to have flags that tell the system to add/subtract the result from an attribute, or bar on a character. I am also hoping for a flag that you can use to set a point in a macro to only continue if the first part is a success. Then you could set all your attack macros to be vs. selected ac for the first part, and if successful then subtract hp.
