I'm the kind of RPer who builds a character story and background first with goals and motivations before I even touch the mechanics side of things. I love a game with players and DM/GM/Storyteller who likes to try (sometimes horribly) to use voices, get into character, and build adventures and events around character interactions. Creative story solutions like convincing the ancient golem that we're emissaries of it's long dead king to escape a fight are a joy to me. I'm the type of player who spends a rare single use 12k gold item not on destroyed some big bad's sword, but on releasing a creature that had been stuck in it's own skull for hundreds of thousands of years. Why? Because of character guilt and reasons, despite it doing nothing for me mechanically. I'm a flex player and can pretty much learn and play anything mechanics-wise. I've played in so many systems my eyes go cross thinking about it. If your game is mostly dungeon crawls and encounters with little RP time or a lot of railroading I'm probably not your gal. If it's a mix of the two, then I'd love to join up! I also do art...
