With the Monsterhearts 2 Kickstarter in full swing, I want to play the new Trick-or-Treat sneak peak. I'm sort of just gauging interest, to see if I could put something together. I'd host and MC/GM. It would be a one-shot. There is no need to have played before, but please at least know what Monsterhearts is and the type of stories it tries to tell. This will be about teenagers, who are struggling to figure out who they are. Their body is going through crazy things, that they have no control over. This game will likely have sex, it will likely have violence, it will have queer content. To me, one of the most important moves of the game is, "Turn someone on". The move is triggered when the character does something, a hair flip, a caress, a carefully worded phrase, or just splashing water on your face, which may turn on another character. The receiving character does not get to choose whether or not they are turned on, if the move is successful they are. They DO get to decide HOW they react. I understand this game is not for everyone, I'm just looking to find others who would find it interesting. My plans would be to run a 4 hour one-shot. I would be looking for 4 other players. This would probably happen on a MWF at 6pm (PST, GMT+8). Details would need to be figured out, but that's the idea. Basic structure would be: Hour 1: Character and school creation. 10 minute break (mostly so I can think and incorporate all the answers from the first hour) Hours 1.2-3.5: Scenes following characters around and seeing their messy lives. Hour 3.5-4: Wrap up, epilogue, what worked what didn't.
