[LFG] I am looking for a GURPS campaign that is in a fantsay setting

Hi my name is JC, i'm 24 and im looking for a gurps game that doesnt mind a new player that takes place in a medival like fantasy setting. I am currently reading the books to try and run one myself, but theres alot of material. If anyone is or can run a game id love to join, and feel free to pm me with any questions. Thanks!
Hey JC I've got a serious shortage of time to run anything serious these days but I can't bare to see an eager GURPS learner go without assistance. What is your timezone and availabilities? Maybe I could run a one shot sometime or something.
I'm EST any any day besides sat and sun every other week. Thanks for responding ive been desperatly looking
No problem I like your persistence and am sorry none of the other GURPS guys saw your post as there are a good group of them around, they just must not be checking the boards much. Below you'll find 2 ongoing "campaigns" that are place holders for GURPS folks to meet up in for general system learning/play/help. I believe they are open so you can just join. If this is not the case PM me and I can get you in. They may be able to get you into a real game. But be aware that like any game system there are different ways of playing it and GMs create different atmosphere's in their games so if you don't "like the style of game" one GM runs try another. Thanks to GURPS generic ruleset you can get wildly different gaming styles even from within the same genra. For instance I do not care to play GURPS Fantasy setting with many folks I've met online as I (apparently) tend towards a rules light action based game rather than tactical move based combat as written in the Advanced Combat section of GURPS. So don't be put off the system just because you can't find a game to your liking is all. Anyhow, I am EST as well so that works out nicely. I will try to set aside a few hours over the next week or two some evening. At the very least I could run a solo adventure for you to help you get a feel for the system. I am basically doing the exact same thing from an old friend who has recently picked up GURPS as well. Would you like to make up a character? Go ahead and make 2 PCs of any race you want. One should be 125pts (up to 30pts in disadvantages) and the other character could be 200 pts (up to 50pts in disadvantages). This will give you a feeling for basic power differences. If you need help PM me and we'll go from there! https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/500105/gu... https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/688468/gu...
Thank you will do! i apreciate it!

Luke, Only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public ; by default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1234567/s ... is only visible to players already in the game. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming! :)
Thank you GenKitty
