You can call me Myth. I am currently a DM looking for about 2-4 more warm bodies to run a campaign with. I am new at playing D&D but have played a few games and have DM'd another campaign. I am looking for new or experienced players who would like to have some fun together. I don't mind putting a lot of time into getting stuff ready just need a group that will show up and play. Plan to start in 1-2 weeks depending on how fast or how many people are interested. Please let me know the following "character" information if you're interested. Race: Class: Gender: Background: (1-2 quick sentences) Experience: (how experienced are you with D&D, 1-10) Thanks, Myth Oceanas edit: I plan for this to be a long campaign.
A friend of mine and I are looking to join a game, been wanting to play these characters for over a year now, without much luck in finding a DM. Races: Tiefling & Half-Orc Class: Rogue & Barbarian Gender: Both Male Background: Simple Half Orc saves Tiefling's life, Genius Tiefling swears eternal loyalty. Adventures ensue. Experience: Extremely experienced Player & DM, 7 & 10
Race: Dwarf Class: Cleric Gender: Male Background:  A Dwarf looking for Glory and Honor in battle for his god and  his Clan. While seeking camaraderie he long misses.  Experience: 6 Man I been looking to Play DnD again for awhile even more so for a Long styled campaign.

Hey Myth,  I'm interested in playing if there is still room in you group. I broke my wrist not to long ago so I'm going to try to keep this short.  Race: Wood Elf Class: Ranger or Rogue  Gender: Male Background: (1-2 quick sentences): Sort of an outcast from his people that has spent a lot of time among other races learning to be self sufficient. He is a bit of a lone wolf type but is looking for a place where he "belongs" and he's pretty sure that place is with non-elves for the most part.   Experience: (how experienced are you with D&D, 1-10) I've been playing and running games for 30+ years now so I'd say a high 8. No one can know everything but I do know quite a bit. :D I'm going to include some additional information that may help you judge if I'm the kind of player you want in your group or not. Feel free to ignore it if it's too much.  Just so you know. I'm a dedicated role player and when I agree to be at a game I show up 9 out of 10 times and if I can't make it, I make an effort to let everyone know as far in advance as possible. What I can tell you about me is, I like a serious play style over lighthearted, with a leaning towards grim shades of grey characters instead of single dimensional good heroes. I try to play characters that “feel” real to me, instead of a general heroic archetype. At the end of the day I like to play a character that is on the side of the Angels but complex in their outlook and approach to various situations. If given a choice I prefer Role-Play situations to hack and slash, but in general I like about a 60% role playing to 40% combat ratio. If I join a game I try to enhance the GM’s vision by my narrative support and play; also with the details I put into my character’s background. Characters that "fit" into the setting are important to me. I have a certain dislike for Meta-Gaming Min/Max-ing and rules-lawyering all are equally odious as they waste time and energy that could be spent in much more entertaining ways. Each character should have a chance to shine but one player with an over tweaked character, built to overshadow everyone else is not enjoyable. We are telling the story together; so one character isn’t the “Star” and the rest of the group “Guest Appearances”. Mature content has it place in games but I feel it should be limited in scope. I absolutely have no problem with issues of Sex, Violence, Sexism, Racism (Elves vs Orcs ECT. NOT REAL WORLD stuff), Religion, and or Sexual Orientation showing up in a games but they shouldn’t dominate it. Handled tastefully these things add spice to a game. But much like cooking with habanero peppers, a little goes a long way. Too much leaves you unable to finish the meal and the metaphor extends to the game table. Feel free to disagree but do it respectfully in another thread or via PM please. Deal Breakers for me are pretty clear. Nothing is worse than a group of players that act like they aren’t on the same team. That being said I seriously dislike player vs player situations. I don’t mind if characters have different points of view, and argue them, but when it comes down to it players should never draw weapons on one another. That is not a game with which I’d want to take part. Excessive meta-gaming is a terrible strain on credulity for me as well. Nothing will get me to leave your game quicker than a rules related argument that takes up significant portion of game time. If you'd like to see my Gaming Resume' please take a moment to review it here . If you're interested in talking to me, please let me know, and we can set up a conversation via skype (or what you normally use). It's always best to interview prospective players and game masters to make sure that we are compatible before actually playing. It works out better in the long run. I find. Thanks for your time Peace --Mike PS Either way, I'd like to hear from you, even if it's just to say "No Thanks"

So I'm looking for a few more people interested in playing. 1-2 guys showed interest but kinda left me waiting. If anyone is interested please post or message me. Thanks.
Bump. Still looking for 1-2 people.
I am interested in finding a group.  I can't play the 13th, I'll be traveling, but any week after currently works for a Sunday night game.  Most evenings I'm available 7PM CST unless it's a travel day for work. Race: Human Class: Barbarian Gender: Male Background: Ramas is a former sailor, who worked on a merchant ship for several years, learning trade and seafaring.  His ship was in drydock for repair, when quite suddenly, his captain sold the ship to another, and disappeared, apparently without any duress, but leaving no trace of his whereabouts.  Ramas continues to search for his friend, doing odd jobs for coin, and just doing some good old-fashioned adventuring while he looks. Experience: I am a 'solid' 1.  I've read the player's handbook, and know enough to be able to probably muddle my way through a game with some guidance.
I'd love to play!  Sunday evenings are great for me. Race: Human Class: Deciding on a stealthy character, so I'm still looking into a couple options.  Arcane Trickster Rogue is at the top. Gender: M Background: (1-2 quick sentences) Sengo Tuin was originally a street child, with a struggling mother and a father whom was in the military.  As such, he picked up many tricks and sleight of hand, and due to some fights growing up (usually about coin), he excelled in combat.  As now an adult, he has decided to put his skills to use to better the world for his mother and his friends.  He has a knack for treasure, but ultimately is a sharing and kind person, although a bit ideological at times. Experience: (how experienced are you with D&D, 1-10) Probably a 7 with PF (most of my experience came from there) and a 5 with 5e, though it's incredibly easy to pick up and play compared to PF.
Race: Tiefling Class: Bard Gender: Male Background: Grimlic is a local bard, known for his enchanting music. He was never really 'raised' and never had parents, he relied on performance and mischief to provide coin. Although he can be manipulative, he can also be equally empathetic. He lives for chaos and loves to see a good story come to an end. Treasure, Adventure, Glory, and Romance, the ingredients to having the best of stories. Experience: 7
We are sitting at full right now with a few on the bench. I'll shoot you guys a message if a spot opens up over the next week.
