Plot Pitch The small town of Hartlet in the kingdom of Southwich has
long been ruled by an overtaxing mayor, Grinwald Booker. He ruled from
his castle, high on a hilltop...until now, that is. Rumor has it that
Grinwald died and his castle has sprouted legs and simply ran to the
northern fields. If he truly is dead, maybe someone should relieve the
corpse of his overflowing coffers. Campaign Info
This should be a short (4-5 session) campaign about the fate
of Hartlet and the decisions you make. It'll be a little silly, sort of in the vein of Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Each session will likely run between 3 & 4 hours. The Black Hack is light, OSR goodness, meaning we'll spend more time exploring dungeons and roleplaying than we will looking up arcane rules for how to grapple on rough terrain while calculating bonuses for the amount of tentacles currently in your square. GM Style I've been playing RPG's since before I had friends to play them with and I've been GM'ing for about seven or eight years. I like to have a rough outline for what's going on in the world and then let you guys shape the campaign. I like to ask you guys questions about your characters. I like to delegate some narrative control. I like to do anything I can to keep myself and everyone engaged and interested in the story we will tell together. I'm hoping to run some sessions at a convention I'm going to in January, so I want to gain some XP in running games with people I've never met. We'll roll up characters during the first session. Let's find out what happens. Adventure, ho!
