Pokemon (in marvel tsr?)

I been running a lot of Pokemon tabletop unitied and marvel tsr. While I enjoy running ptu it can be a very fiddly system at higher levels, then I built charizard in tsr and then it hit me, run a full game in this system. Who would be up for this? it would run a lot more like the anime as Pokemon wouldn't really level up or get much stronger then they started at. But I think it could be really fun. if you had  experience with these systems please feel free to add your own ideas .

Hmm i would be up for that, though the power level can differ a lot in the series, in addition to weaknesses kinda being ignored sometimes. So would depend how its done, i think there was also the case were certain Pokemon that had been trained in different ways had different strengths to the same one trained another way. I think id probably go for Jigglypuff, Slowpoke or Chikorita. Also curious if it would be people playing as the pokemon themselves or a trainer. 

It would be the trainers . 

So would players be going for a singular starting Pokemon? or several?

Unsure at the moment . When I ran ptu last they started with a starter and a common Pokemon, to give people a few  options 

I haven't played PTU, but I have played MSH.  I'd be curious to see how you would handle things like evolution within the FASERIP ruleset.  I have to ask if this would be a voice or text game, though.

Voice, I find it much easier to play that way. Though I know some people don't like playing that way I wouldn't mind doing play by post with them. Evolution would really just be adding or powering up some powers and redoing some of the stats .

Would it be possible to have Gastly? Lavendar town scared the hell out of me as a kid.

Are you familiar with the pokerole RPG system? I saw a post for it on here sometime ago but couldn't work out the time. I have the PDF but may be potentialy mildly interested.

Like I said I'm my first post I do like ptu and have been running it snice it came out 4ish years now. But I'm wanting somthing a little more free form.
