[LFP]5e, Fridays at 4PM EST, Homebrew friendly, All Races/Classes welcome!

Hey guys! We're a group that has been playing together since June. We're all mostly pretty new players (there's me as the DM and three others) and as such tend to prioritize fun over obedience of the rules to the letter. We play with some homebrew races and some other supplementary stuff. The group currently has a barbarian, ranger and bard, but we don't have any restrictions if you are interested in playing one of these classes. We're looking for players willing to make a longterm commitment to the group. If you join up and afterwards you just don't feel like playing with the group anymore all we ask is that you let us know. No hard feelings will be held as our group believes you should only play with a group you feel comfortable being in. If there's anyone looking to join a casual 5e game with a priority on fun then drop me a line, we'd be happy to have you.
Hey, I'm interested! I'm Ray, 19 year old college sophomore from the US. I'm about the same level as you guys, I started playing 5e with some friends at the start of the semester. Casual is totally the way we run, too, so no complaint from me there! D&D is fun, yeah, but that's about the people as much as it is about the world, in my opinion.  Since I'm pretty new to all this as well, I only have one character. Her name's Artin, she's a dwarven fighter. Mostly lawful good- but the law codes she follows is internal, rather than the law of the land. Backstory-wise, she was banished from her clan years ago. She had been a soldier in the kingdom's guard, and her patrol caught an elven spy just at the base of the mountains. Her commanding officer was torturing the elf for information, and regardless of what protocol was, Artin couldn't stand by and watch it. She released the elf on the promise he would stay quiet about the information he had overheard. But the elf ended up betraying her to his people, and they attacked the dwarven kingdom, devastating a major city. The only reason she wasn't executed outright for her treason was because her brother sat on the council that made the decision to banish her. As a result, Artin has a deep distrust for elves, even deeper than the normal elf/dwarf feud. She's basically been a drifter ever since, as to be clanless is one of the biggest shames for a dwarf and she's cut ties with everyone from her home, which is why she's adventuring. It takes her a while to trust, but she's firmly loyal once she befriends someone. I'm totally up for making a new character if you guys were hoping for something different, but that's what I've got coming to the table. Let me know if you're still looking for people!
Got to at least say hi, im Jake, I a bit new to both roleplay, and Roll20, I got to the books, but i haven't really been able to get a group together to well actually play the game it self. Though that doesn't mean I haven't role played before. Normally more simplistic freeform forum post by post games. Im kind of new to DnD and Roll20, so I don't have any real character pre-made. But I am more capable to roll one up for your Campaign setting and fill in a gap or niche that the group might need. I got all the books, I have read the material, I just can't find anyone to play with. So if you could ever be so kind, I would be honored if you could accept me into your gourp, and teach me a few things along the way.
Hello, I'm a veteran of many games, sadly many have crashed and burn, but I'm always interested in trying to find a game that'll be good. Now for all the bad stuff out of the way, I'm very interested to try out Friday, because it's a very free day for me and I'd love to try to find a regular 5e group. I'd want to play a half-dragon fighter (with modifications from the 3.5 template of the aforementioned race, with 5e vanilla fighter class). I'm a balanced player and like all elements of tabletop rpgs: combat, npc/pc interaction, roleplaying etc. Thanks.
