I'm not running a DND campaign currently, but I can teach you how to role play and the in and out's of the dice systems. I have a monster hearts game on Monday's, and trust me it's very simple, the people I'm looking to bring in are friendly, if you are interested let me know.

Rik, Keep your eyes peeled for Organized Play games like D&D Adventurers League or 13th Age Alliance, etc., because these are set up for and welcoming of totally new players.
Hey there, this might sound weird at first but listen to my offer: I gather a group for a RPG game that i have made myself. The setting as well as character creation is very flexible ranging from Sci-Fi to Fantasay. I'm german though i'd speak english for that undertaking anyways. So if you are interested hit me up and i fill you in with all the details. But what i can tell you right away: What this game has to offer: - Exceptional character design and freedom in creation - Highly customizable characters - Easy on-the-fly balancings - Unique Roll System - Unique approach of skills, powers, spells and abilites - Fair Play - Challenging Fights - Desicions that matter Anything and Everything is possible and welcomed. Wanted to play a flying slime with a lasergun? Well, you can here. It is... not fitting into the story propably but you can create whatever you imagine. I highly encourage experimental attempts and something out of the ordenary. Try to create a character and create a story for him to determine what he should be able to do. Last words I dont expect you to be able to get the full picture by this but maybe just get you interested in a new concept. This is aimed for new players as well and i'd be curious how you'd find it. Anways, sorry for the longer text, but it will be worth your while

Those games tend to be as much a community of players as a group (LGC has 90 members and 10 DMs in it). Andrew is correct in saying they we are always welcoming to new players. LGC is 4th edition DnD and if it is something that interests you check us out on the group finder, or toss me a PM for more information.

There are a scattering of groups on roll20 that are focused on specific systems or styles of gameplay. That could help you find a game also. If you are into the older systems like AD&D (2e or 1e) there is a group for that (I think Gold runs or knows of that group) and I have a group that is focused on text based games instead of voice ( Knights of the Written Word 2 ) that has multiple games listed actively recruiting. It all depends on what you are looking for. Good luck and keep the dice rolling.

Hi Rik, I'm starting a Dutch/ NL spoken campaignn the near future. Check it out; https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1801836/t... It's Pathfinder/ DnD 3.5 with allot of homebrew lore and additions. And we are welcoming new players, experience do not matter.
