How about a reformed Team Plasma member from BW2, or some other criminal team who wants a fresh start? How about a trainer in one the other region's leaders' gyms who want their own crack at fame? There's other interpertations and things you can go for other than a retirement home. But if that's your thing, go for it. I wont judge :P
