[5e OGL] NPC Abilities not working

I have a monster (Goblin) setup, it is setup with token actions with attacks, saves, initiative etc.The commands I am using  work because they work on all my other monsters. The goblin is setup in exactly the same way as the other monsters but for some reason on the Goblin they do not work. I am using the D&D 5e OGL sheets. Firstly when clicking the token action for anything but the initiative (which works fine '%{selected|npc_init}') I get this message 'No ability was found for %{Goblin|Action-Scimitar}'. Secondly if I take the command ('%{selected|repeating_npcaction_$0_npc_action}') from inside the ability and paste it into chat, I get this message 'No attribute was found for @{Goblin|repeating_npcaction_$0_rollbase}'. Everything is named correctly and all the commands work, just not on this sheet. I am just going to create a new sheet for now but would like to know what the root of this problem is. Is it something I have done? Is it a random glitch or corruption on the sheet? How can I avoid this happening in the future? Thank-you for any help you can give.

Do you experience this issue on a newly-created Character with the Goblin template?
No, re-creating the sheet (in exactly the same way I did in the first place) seems to have fixed the issue
