SUGGESTION: An on screen movement control for the selected character.
Ideally, a player could set a toggle in the settings to make a wheel appear on the screen which had the following:
•A character selector at the top which listed all the characters controlled by the player.
•A Dice selector (A box with a number entry field, and a dice icon for each dice in the game)
•A Movement Total, based on the Dice Selector.
•A Left,Right,Down,Up, Up-Left, Up-Right, Down-Left, Down-Right button wheel.
•A 'Keyboard' Toggle
Here is ideally how such a wheel would be used.
It's the player's turn. They enter 2 into the numerical field (or it remembers from the last use) and then hit the d6. The dice calculate that he gets 8 spaces to move. So the total in the center of the wheel turns to 8. The DM reminds him that he has +2 to all movement rolls, so he clicks into the square and changes it to 10. Then, he clicks the left arrow, and once for every click, the icon for his selected player moves 1 space in that direction.
It's taking too long, so he toggles the keyboad button, and holds down the CTRL button, and presses the left arrow on his keyboard, moving the character much quicker, but deducting from the total. When he reaches the cap for the roll, a popup appears on screen which says, 'No more movement points remain'. To bypass this, all he has to do is choose ignore.
