[LFP] The One Ring RPG, Long Campaign- Banewing

Greetings, I'm looking for people to join me for a long, long adventure!! Banewing is a full-fledged, long-drawn campaign that has been meticulously crafted, and it runs on The One Ring system! https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/62743/banewing It is Spring in the year 2955 of the Third Age. To the South, in Gondor, it is a difficult year with the rapidly growing might of the Shadow. It has only been some months since Mount Doom has burst into flame again, its tremors being felt far and wide, and the swiftly blackening horizon heralding portent in the hearts of many. Ithilien has become, for all purposes and intents, a wild, fallen stretch of land, barely recognizable as the verdant further arm of the kingdom as it once was, and few at all inhabit it, most having fled to the regions of Losarnach. It is the same picture of dilapidation there as it is in Osgiliath, long fallen and mouldered. Raids, even if desultory and minor, by Sauron's servants or other evils frequently reach even as far as the Rammas Echor, and the spirits even of the sturdiest are seen to flinch at times these days. It is within the walls of the great city, that an important task needs addressing, and folks daring enough to sally out in the midst of a sudden gush of enemy-prowls just beyond the Echor are sought... My date and time specifications for the sessions are quite tentative, and will be finalized only after I've brought the Company together and found out the most comfortable mean for all concerned! I will be using all the Cubicle 7 publications by way of supplements and such except the latest Adventurer's Companion. This will be a giant campaign, taking our heroes from its outset in Gondor, beyond to Calenardhon, Rhovanion, and even the further reaches of Eriador. Tarry no more, and wander, lest you be lost! P.S: I reside at GMT+5.30
Your game looks interesting, but I have no idea what time zone you are in or when you want to run this game. May I suggest you make a game room and set an approximate time (because it converts to the users local time). You could also just say where you are and then we can look up the difference (because google doesn't seem to recognize GMT+ anything, its all GMT-). Also, potential days or availability would be good to know (if you have any days that you cannot run on).
Ah, and so, here goes: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/62743/banewing
Do we need to submit character sheet now? I am very interested!
No, I'm just looking at character concepts and the like for now, we'll do character generation after initial discussions, and also with a view to supplement roles yet to be covered in the Company.
I am pretty interested! Has the time been fixed yet?

Sounds like a fun time. I played a starter The One Ring campaign some time ago but the group fell apart soon after starting. I ended up selling all my books because getting a group seemed all impossible. I am interested.... I suggest playing every other week.
I'm sure, Moss, that this campaign will make every conceivable effort to address your past dejection! The game time has been set for Saturdays, at 10 pm for GMT+5.30, which would put it somewhere in the morning for the US and 5 pm or thereabouts for Europe. It'll be a weekly session.
There are a couple of vacant slots yet, I'm open to most cultural background ideas, but wish to ensure that they don't clash overly much with the ones that are already in the Company. Looking forward to character concepts.
I'm definitely interested! i had only one experience with The One Ring RPG before and i loved it but sadly the game ended prematurely. Do you still want players?
Yes, there's one last slot open, do PM me your character concept! :)
Fresh Update: As of now, there's one slot securely open. Adventurer sought, most One Ring cultural backgrounds welcome!

Yo there! Yes, I do have players who are new to the system, and I think thats not a great impediment! Cheers! :) Still looking forward to character concepts.
How long are your game sessions?
The sessions are around 3 hours long, and on occasion, a tad longer.
