Keep token with character

I have tokens and characters from the Land of Belfum adventure. I want to use these in my other campaigns but I need help exporting them. I moved them to the new game but when there all the tokens stayed in the old campaign so now I have a bunch of characters that have no tokens. I don't know what to do at this point. How do I assign a token to a character and how do I get the tokens from old game into new game? Also, is it normal that the token and the character move separately from game to vault and so forth?

Hi Omegaman. This should follow the usual instructions for moving Characters from one game (in this case it's your game created from a Module) to another game. You should be able to use the Character Vault method, or because of your Pro account on Roll20 you could use the Transmogrify method, either way you'll transfer Characters (under Journals) from 1 game to another, and it sounds like you already did that step. The characters that you transfer should have a Default Token assigned (on the Journal > Character > Bio tab). If they do not have a default token set-up, go back into your Belfum game and assign the Default Token for each, then transfer them again into the new game. Wiki docs, https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Default_Token Now in the new game, after the transfer, go to the Journal tab where the Characters are listed. Grab-drag-and-drop onto the tabletop each Character (grabbing by the Name in the list). This should put their assigned tokens on the tabletop. Wiki demo, https://wiki.roll20.net/File:Journal9.0.gif If it's not working like that, write back and describe what you're seeing.

You are correct. It turns out that the NPCs and the monsters do NOT have their tokens already assigned to them like the pregen PCs do. I thought they did. To save time I just moved my campaign to the original so I wouldn't have to recopy them all. I will assign their tokens there and then they should transfer in the future just fine for me. Also, Transmorgrify is really easy. Like, SUPER easy. I don't know how the vault works cause I've never used it, but with Tranmorgrify I can't see any reason to. I love that hot-swapping ability.

The vault (at least when used by a Pro user) is primarily for moving character sheets between games that they did not create as the Transmogrifier is limited to user created games only, otherwise yup... Transmogrifier ALL the way :)
