GM for Dungeons the Dragoning 40,000 7th Edition

So, I ran across a system called Dungeons the Dragoning 40,000 7th edition a while back, and I've been dying to play! I'd love to run it myself, but feel that I might be better off running in the game as a player first. The game looks to be majorly hardcore (the way I like my games) and from the people I've talked to who've played it state that the system is really solid and that it's a blast. If anyone here is familiar with it and would like to run a game, I'd LOVE to play!
Sounds like the older versions of 'Hackmaster". Module one: "Ebon Ringsword of the Dragon Stone Scroll Rune Staff of Khaos" ... in Spaaaaaace!"
This game is an amalgamation of D&D (both older and newer editions as well as Spelljammer/Planescape settings), Warhammer 40K, Badlands, 7th Sea and some others. Just reading the book is pretty freaking wicked. I've never played Hackmaster before.
Hackmaster was a parody, that some took to heart. Pretty decent game, if you like lickies , chewies and crunchies. It is more D&D than 3.x. Example spell from Hackmaster: The "Bouncing Betty Fireball". Reminiscent of T&T ala "Ooh Poor Baby"/Take That You Fiend!" or AG e.g. "Mortar Toads" both classics of the oldest school.
Ah, ok. This one is not a parody (though it is hilarious to read in many cases). It actually comes across as pretty brutal...and I like brutal lol
Well, with a title like "DtD40K 7e" ... if there were a decimal, I'd not believe you one whit. : > L
Houston, D:TD 40k 7e is a Parody, if you read the the wording it actually says so, and it is literally the most hilarious game system ever, but, it is a parody, he made it as a joke, and people liked it so much the guy improved on it, not sure if you'be seen or not, but he put out an updated version back in December as well as an updated version of book 2.
Ok you're right. And yeah, I just download those a couple days ago. Well the Book 2 anyway. I found the game just after the updated version came out so that was the one I started reading.
Yep. Hackmaster 40k. That adds up.
So anyway, back to the subject at hand....Anyone feel like running ths?? xD
If you like Hackmaster and Spelljammer, you might want to check out Hackjammer (the Spelljammer conversion to the last edition of Hackmaster rules). David "Big Mac" Shepheard
