Also: I am beginning to question the wisdom of running an evil campaign with this group. Our negotiation and weaseling skills all suck! xD To be fair, a lot of negotiating will likely be simply "attack and kill." lmao. I liked this session, even though our encounter with the Neverwinter cops was pretty ridiculous. I think we kind of forget how to interact with people since we've been killing things to protect the town and our friends. Though, I'm not exactly sure how much better we could have done since, had we allowed Elvalur to be taken in, we'd have had to choose to either go after him to break him out or leave him and go after Gundren's brother/hunt down the spider. At least, those seem like the options we would have had if Elvalur was taken into custody. And, just to note that I feel Sigrun trying to step in to give Elvalur a chance to escape falls in her Chaotic Good alignment, since she's of the view that to do good, sometimes, you have to break the rules or at least bend them significantly. To her, Elvalur is a friend who's saved her life and fought along side her AND he's being wrongfully accused, so breaking the rules is justified to save a good man. Anyway, that's her justification (and mine), and I *think* it falls within her Chaotic Good alignment, but I guess that's up to you, O Wise DM. (Also, Sigrun really would like that mace. >.>) Yes, Shelly, you are absolutely right -- Sigrun's actions were pure Chaotic Good. :)
