When playing Star Wars Force and Destiny with a group will it be fine if the GM is the only player with a core rule book, or will it be necessary for each player to have a rule book on standby. Thanks for any help.
On Roll20, Handouts and/or Macros can be used to make referencing complex game mechanics much easier. I posit that any GM who becomes proficient at using either (or both) can fluidly run pretty much any game system on Roll20 without requiring any of their players to crack open a book.
At Pro level you get the Star Wars Script which is nice for rolling the special dice. There are websites where players can plop points into skills and that app applies the dice needed for you when making character. Since its not roll 20 related I dont think linking it is allowed. However I found this Roll20 tutorial youtuber to be useful. He was/is very ambitious with his DnD books transferred. I have scanned and uploaded cheat sheets for SW Edge of Empire Beginner Box set to play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRU4yZHRmQQ&t=571s
