Hello, I am a GM. I signed on to my game last night and noticed that a large portion of my uploaded images were...gone. Not all of the images, just seemingly at random. These were images that I had uploaded from my computer over the past couple years. My most recently uploaded images are there though; they were uploaded a few days ago.  But many from last couple months are gone. I thought maybe I ran out of storage space; According to my profile information this is my current storage usage: 218MB / 1000MB I'm running Google Chrome. Windows 10. P.S. Also I had all of the images in the Recent Uploads category.  I had not clicked the Copy to Library or Copy to Folder on any of them. I just went in and deleted about a dozen un-needed images to see if it would make any difference.  I also copied one image to Library. The missing images are still missing. My storage quota is now: 203MB / 1000MB Of note, I did upload  several dozen images recently. If you go over your quota does it overwrite previous uploads; I assumed I'd get a warning of some kind when quota was reached if this was so. Any idea on what the problem might be?
Hello Dred, I had the same issue also, my players and I couldn't see any one the assets I uploaded. We also couldn't see any of the purchased assets clearly as they either didn't appear or were blurry. My storage is only 133MB / 2000MB and I am also running windows 10 using google chrome, however the map still did not work in Microsoft edge either. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

Dred and Con, can you give me an example of an image you can no longer find in your library? Like a file name?
Kristin C. Thank you so much for your attention on this issue. I have been re-uploading most of the images I was missing. (The show must go on...) One that was missing, that I have not gotten around to re-uploading, is called ' Slake Mando '
I am also having this issue - many of my older images are showing the broken image file. Sometimes they show it both int he Journal as well as when you open them, sometime only when you open them. Chrome seems to be more buggy than firefox, reloading seems to sometimes have them show... it is pretty unreliable. Only notice this a couple of days ago. Example: Campaign The Rough and Tumble Lburg Krew, Journal Entry Flame Tongue, image fire_sword.jpg

Dred, I went into your account and swept through your entire art library starting to the very first image uploaded on 11-08-2012. I only saw two broken images, one was a .DOC file (which never would have processed correctly anyhow) and the other was a .GIF (which isn't a reliable image type on Roll20). Everything else appeared as non-broken. What that tells me is that there is something on your end that is interfering with retrieving the images from our server. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Zanthox, I'd recommend you do the same as well.
Kristin, :D Thank you for your help. My links appeared broken on some of the pages they were supposed to be on, because the images themselves no longer existed in the 'recently uploaded' list. Somehow they got deleted... I'm beginning to think I somehow accidentally deleted a few dozen images myself with just a couple keystrokes somehow; perhaps by highlighting a bunch when I thought I just had one selected...and then hitting 'delete'. I have re-uploaded most of them again already, and things seem to be holding fine.  So...I guess it's fixed; if it was ever anything more than user error to begin with.

I recommend going through your Recent Uploads and putting them in a suitable Folder structure and then clicking the Filter icon next to the Recent Uploads title so you don't see anything in there unless you just uploaded it. I did this in my Art Library and I've had little trouble since.
