STORY INTRODUCTION In the depths of the barren Aldiri volcanic mountain range, in the far east of the lands of Intirilodyl, The Great Red Wyrm stirs from her millenia-long slumber and surveys her vast hordes of wealth and the still-sleeping bodies of her entombed servants. She smoothly stands from a coiled resting position and morphs from her draconic form to that of a beautiful red haired woman. Two of her minions awaken and bring her an elegant crimson robe, with a set of golden jewelery to compliment it. She dismisses them, and dresses herself. She walks down the pile of jewels and coinage that served as her ancient bed, feet barely touching the ground. She marches through long, cavernous halls, decorated with long forgotten tapestries of unimaginable value. She eventually reaches a throne room, beautiful in its regal perfection, and sits upon the throne of gilded skulls. Suddenly, the eons old fortress erupts into life, and her servants awaken, bustling and hustling about to push her machinations into action. Far away, life continues as it always has for the past one thousand years. A group of unsuspecting heroes walks amongst the people of the Civilized Lands. Little do they know that they are destined to cross paths not only with each other, but with the greatest evil ever known to the sentient life of the Intirilodylic Empire...
