Hello roll20 users! I'm looking for 2 more people to join a beginner's game for Star Wars, Edge of the Empire. Everything is normally set in the roll20 app so there should be no technical glitches. This game will play with Google Hangouts- there's a dice app for the game that is just too great to pass on. The game will be set at 09h15 pm EST time (03h15am GMT+1 ; 08h15pm CST ; 06h15pm PST) on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'd like it to happen on the 5th or 6th of November , but if I cannot find enough players, it will happen the following week ( 12th or 13th of November ). Apparently one of the player has a preference for Wednesday nights, so it'll probably be one of those if you can manage. It will be a game with voice, but only for mechanical or out-of-character banter. We will use Skype , unless everyone agrees to use another third-party voice program. The actual description of actions and other things will happen in the chat. I explained it a bit more in the campaign's forums (I feel it will go fast enough for mechanics using voice, but people feel more immersed when they can read what's happening In-Game and when they need to write down what their characters are doing.). It can change in the middle of the game, if we realize it's too slow or something else. BEGINNERS ARE WELCOMED. And I mean total beginners, whether they feel like trying a new game or never have played RPGs before. I'm not well-versed into the system (though I know most of the theory of that particular game) but, hopefully, everyone will learn it together while having a great time! (By the way, this is a Beginner's Game so the characters are already created. I will give you the sheets and backgrounds if you want to join!) There are a couple of posts in the campaign's forums explaining a few things I want for this game, but don't feel overwhelmed. Just read through it, and if there is anything you don't understand, we can discuss about it before the game - and you can always come a bit sooner if you need anything explained. There is a Mediafire folder with some of the things you will need as beginners, so don't be afraid. And mostly, you just need to know a bit about your character, and that should be enough. If you want to learn a new game system, or don't know what to expect from this RPG and always wanted to try it, you are welcomed to do so. This is a good opportunity to try something new. I will launch a campaign after that, but I want to try my hand with the basics of the game first.
