API console stuck at - Previous shutdown complete, starting up... - looking for help

So, i am new to using the api scripts for roll20.  all has been going well, until yesterday late afternoon when my two campaigns api console gave the same message as in the title.  i tried spinning up a new campaign ... same thing.   I then figured i would try on the dev server and i am seeing the same response.  So , since i have found no topics of others having this issue at this time i have to assume it is my account..... i have tried using both chrome and edge browsers, clearing cache multiple times to no avail. any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I've had this occassionally, but never for the length of time you're talking about. This may be a stupid question, but are you logged into your game (the actual VTT). The sandbox will hang at this message if a GM isn't logged into the game.
I'm new too and I'm getting this: Restarting sandbox due to script changes... Previous shutdown complete, starting up... and it just hangs. :(

Moved this to the bug forums. Can you post a console log when you are trying to shut down the api? A console log is a listing of the activity that Roll20 is doing while you play, so we can spot anything that deviates from the norm. Follow the instructions below to open your log, then just copy and paste everything into your bug report forum post in the Bug Reports section of the forums and we will aid you further. In Google Chrome Use the keyboard shortcut: Command - Option - J (Mac) or Control -Shift -J (Windows/Linux). If that doesn't work, follow these instructions: <a href="https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/console#opening_the_console" rel="nofollow">https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/console#opening_the_console</a> In Mozilla Firefox Use the keyboard shortcut: Control-Shift-K (Command-Option-K on the Mac) If that doesn't work, follow these instructions: <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console" rel="nofollow">https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console</a>

Leon , could you verify that you have two browser tabs/windows open? The API Scripts page for your Game The Game itself, which you are currently logged into without connection difficulty
Thank you. That was it. I didn't realize that you need to have both the game and api page up at the same time. &nbsp;I only had the API open. &nbsp;I feel like a noob, which to this, I guess yeah. Sorry. Thanks for the help.
ok. &nbsp;that was it. &nbsp;in the same boat as leon. &nbsp;didn't realize i had tto have the game logged into. &nbsp;i think i always did , but didn't realize it was required. &nbsp;some days ........ &nbsp;:) &nbsp; thanks all for the response. &nbsp;learn something new everyday. &nbsp;:)
Ok, I'm glad this was resolved! (I moved this thread back to the API forum)
