Voice Chat Issues

Looks like other people are having similar issues. Not sure why the previous problem thread was closed. Since last week I and a number of people I play with (10 across three campaigns) have experienced problems with voice chat (not BETA version). So parties can randomly use voice with one other person. No amount of changing, reboots, clearing cache has solved this. All users have been using internal Roll20 voice for months or longer with no issues.

Yep, the older version works for about half of the people, which is better than the Beta, we have been running Skype for the last few weeks. I had used TokBox for years with no problems. Not working for any of my Canadian players, perhaps too many Trump refugees in Canada?
Yeah I am not sure what election jokes have to do with my voice chat not working. We as three separate weekly campaigns have used the non-BETA with zero problems for months. It worked last Tuesday, it stopped working this past Thursday for one. It now does not work in the other two. We have one computer illiterate that we have tried to get on Ventrilo and he can't seem to get it configured. We are currently looking at alternatives that are web based like Discord. Would prefer to use the built in chat just for the simplicity of getting in and out. Hopefully someone on the Roll20 tech side will respond.

We've recently rolled out some upgrades to the integrated WebRTC Video and Voice chat system. Try using the "Reconnect" button in your Settings tab at the bottom of the Video + Voice options - if that doesn't fix your problems please provide us with a Console Log in this thread . To test your WebRTC connectivity, please go to this link for a webRTC diagnostic test. Once there: 1. Click on the Start button. 2. Allow the test to run itself through the various subtasks (Microphone, Camera, Network, Connectivity, and lastly Throughput). 3. If the test runs into any issues, click on the bug icon at the top, this brings up a new window to create a bug report. 4. Describe what issues you had with the diagnostic test and then click on “Upload Report” 5. This will pull up a new window that provides a link to the report (“The *link* to the report is now available”). This link will be available for the next 90 days. Copy the link and paste it here in this thread. Please follow the steps and report your findings in the feedback thread - if you do not provide the information requested, we cannot help. Thanks!
