Video Issues

We've been using roll20 for a game I'm running since July, and this is the first time we've had this level of problem with the video chat. Essentially I could see my own video and one player's video, and two other players could only see each other's video but not ours. We spent a half hour trying to fix it, but none of the troubleshooting methods on the usual troubleshooting page or anything else worked. Has this been reported by anyone else, and is there a fix for it? It wasn't quite game-ruining but we had some big moments tonight and they're fighting their first dragon next week, so I'd like to try and have it fixed by then.

I think the issues with Voice/Video following the recent update are well known. There is a sticky in this forum about it and before that there was another thread that was closed (intended to be replaced by the new sticky). Closed thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4347716/video-an... Sticky: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4365015/webrtc-v... My group had issues Saturday night when we were playing but after various fiddling around suddenly everyone appeared and we were good. I just thought the servers were acting up because the Roll20 website was slow and I couldn't upload an image to my campaign either. I couldn't tell you what I changed I just had everyone pressing F5 every few seconds and magically we could all see each other. I don't think the issue is on your end so don't buy a new webcam or anything drastic just yet.
We've recently rolled out some upgrades to the integrated WebRTC Video and Voice chat system. Try using the "Reconnect" button in your Settings tab at the bottom of the Video + Voice options - if that doesn't fix your problems please provide us with a Console Log in this thread . To test your WebRTC connectivity, please go to this link for a webRTC diagnostic test. Once there: 1. Click on the Start button. 2. Allow the test to run itself through the various subtasks (Microphone, Camera, Network, Connectivity, and lastly Throughput). 3. If the test runs into any issues, click on the bug icon at the top, this brings up a new window to create a bug report. 4. Describe what issues you had with the diagnostic test and then click on “Upload Report” 5. This will pull up a new window that provides a link to the report (“The *link* to the report is now available”). This link will be available for the next 90 days. Copy the link and paste it here in this thread. Please follow the steps and report your findings in the feedback thread - if you do not provide the information requested, we cannot help. Thanks!
