Really new to this

so i am really new to tabletop classic rpgs... played a lot of mmo's and video game but have been more and more lately been wanting to join a game of probably d&d(i think it might be the easiest to jump into knowing what little i know already) but would be very appreciative of any assistance and guidance any experience players out there can offer and if possible would love the opportunity to join a game(warning though i am very very new)

Hello Abudabi. The first post from the thread " New to Roll20 " has the basics that is suggested to everyone new to the hobby and roll20. Give it a read and follow the recommendations. On a side note, it does take time to get into a group sometimes so having patiance is something you will need to have.

i got nothing but time so patience i can do... and i have already delved into the new to roll20 and am almost done reading it

Good to hear. Good luck and happy gaming. Just remember that if you are doing a game search, checkmark the welcomes new players as that will filter out any game that is not listed as for new players.

So Let me update this a bit already..... Hi my name is Sam(most people just call me abudabi or abu) i am new to this experience and would love any guidance and the opportunity to join a game with some experienced players..... i am free almost anytime and would love to try any rpg system but am shy of the more technical due to still being new...

Hi Sam. Go with what Pat recommended in his replies. The thread " New to Roll20 " explains how to use Roll20's Looking For Group options, since self-introductions and looking for a group is not best-fitting here in the Specific Use Questions forum.
